Before commissioning me to paint an original custom portrait of your dog, it is best if you email your favourite dog photos to me at beeskelton@gmail.com for
me to assess. I can then better advise you, and together discuss the painting you would like
within your budget.
Please try to choose high quality
photos that have facial expressions you love. Especially with a
clear view of the eyes (eyes are very important in my portraits). No flash please. Shots taken in daylight are
best.
However, if there is a photo you particularly love, which is less than perfect, please let me see it. If you love it, the chances are it will still hold enough visual information and heart-melting doggy magic to inspire me. You may wish me to paint a portrait of a much loved dog, sadly no longer with you. No problem. I will work with whatever photo memories you have.
You may want me to paint a different background to
that shown in your photo. Or you have photos of more than one dog, that you
would like combined onto one canvas. Do you require a canvas of particular dimension and size? I will be able to advise
you and quote for your exact requirements.
All prices quoted include packaging, handling and delivery Worldwide FREE of additional charge. Depending on where you live, you may be responsible for any customs charges that may apply.
When I have your photos, and
after we have discussed your requirements, I will send you a Paypal invoice for 50% of the
price. After you have approved the
finished painting I will send you a Paypal invoice for the remaining balance.
It takes me between 1 and 2 weeks to complete a painting, slightly longer at busy times. Oil paint needs time to dry before safe to ship, so in total please allow approximately 4 weeks. If your painting is
needed more urgently, let me know, and I may recommend the use of
quicker drying acrylic paints instead. At busy times I will complete
work in the sequence that orders are placed.
You, my clients, are a vital part of my process. In
the first place you'll be sending me your favourite photos of your
beloved dogs. You love them, and it helps so much for me to hear from you about your pets personality and character. I want to know as much as I can from you to help make your portrait special. I also like to email images of
work-in-progress to you from start to completion of your painting. It is a collaboration between us that helps the work when I have your feedback as we go along. I
think you'll enjoy seeing the work develop.
A scanned image of
your finished portrait will be emailed for your complete approval before
final payment and shipping. Your satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed, because
in the very unlikely event you are not completely thrilled with your
painting (so far all my clients have been delighted), I will keep it for addition to my portfolio, and happily give you a full refund.
